Last night, the LIC Business Improvement District hosted its Annual Meeting and recognized BID and community leaders with awards:
- Gotham Realty and Queens Economic Development Corporation for their collaboration on Made in Queens
- and the 108th and 114th Police Precincts, Deputy Inspectors Travaglia and Fortune accepting, joined by Deputy Chief Juanita Holmes, Commander of Queens Borough North
The meeting was followed by a developers and retailers showcase to share past successes and recent retail announcements in Court Square and Queens Plaza. Held at M. Wells Steakhouse, retailers and property owners, including Brause Realty, Gotham Realty, Lions Group, L+M Development, Rockrose, and Tishman Speyer, discussed their experience in LIC and why now is the time to commit to the booming area. More than a dozen existing, incoming and prospective retailers and restaurants were in attendance including Doughnut Plant, Food Cellar, M. Wells, SHI, and Toby's Estate Coffee to meet owners, brokers and community members to learn more about LIC. View photos from the event here.
